Jose Sulaiman on the state of boxing

WBC President says that boxing is going down in the United States and Mexico has begun to play the leading role. Sulaiman pointed out that Americans have a foreign idol in Filipino Manny Pacquiao and the fact that the heavyweight champion is not American shows the decline of boxing in the U.S. On the contrary, Sulaiman states that Mexico will stage many world title fights during the year and is on track to be the most active in boxing because it fills the arenas and audiences are at levels that equal or exceed those of soccer.
