Elio Rojas vs Jhonny Gonzalez ?

WBC featherweight champion Jhonny Gonzalez could face former champ Elio Rojas, who gave up the title 2010 with an injury. Rojas was declared “champion in recess” and González went on to win the title on April 11 against Hozumi Hasegawa. Rojas has sent notification to the WBC seeking to exercise his right as a “champion in recess” to immediately fight for a WBC title. “I’m ready for Rojas and any other major rivals if there is good money,” says Gonzalez.
