i mean he's not doing intensive training but he sparred with thomas dulorme and has been running. according to the article cotto is 166 RIGHT NOW affraid

A year ago or so, I'd have thought COtto was the more spent fighter. I'm not so sure that's the case now. I make it a toss-up, with a slight lean towards Cotto. Margo had to fight like a possessed tiger in that first fight to win and I'm not so sure he's capable of duplicating that anymore.

IMO he did do that against pacquiao, Manny was just too much for him. Margarito still has enough left to beat cotto I think. You know 1 thing for sure, he'll go out on a stretcher trying even if he cant do it. That guy just doesnt have any quit in him.

+1. I think that Pac fight will take a ton out of him. He took a really bad beating in that one and no one knows if it has had a huge effect. My guess because of all the wars he has already been in and given Cotto has a new trainer the tide will shift toward Cotto in this rematch. Besides who knows if he did use plaster in their first fight. I guess we will find out.

I think Margarito is completely shot. He peaked a long time ago. Even though he wore Cotto down, he took a lot of shots in that fight. He hasn't been the same guy for a while, I mean, this is a guy that KO'd Martinez (I know, 11 years ago), so his career is way worse now than 3 years back. I say, Cotto by stoppage and it will be body shots that end it.
