I hope he hasn't blown through his money, i'd be really worries about him after losing 4 of his last five fights and three of those were brutal KO's.

Not only that when I read the article it stated that he had bleeding in his brain after the AA fight?? WTF!

he doesn't need to fight. He could beat a couple of bums but he gets plastered as soon as he faces someone good.

And he's dropping back down to 160

Any State that grants him a licenced should no longer be allowed to sanction fights. Any doctor that certifies him as being medically fit to fight, should lose their medical licence.

After the AA fight, he should never be allowed to fight again.

If he had been KO'd 1 time then I wouldn't have a problem with it. The multiple KOs did damage.


He got KO'd by Pavlik and looked decent in the rematch.
He looked pretty good against the shot, Jeff Lacy.
He looked pretty good against Froch and got KO"d late in the 12th. If he had won the fight he would have resurrected his career a bit. But he got destroyed late and that KO had some lingering effects!!!!!!!
He looked like SHIT THE ENTIRE FIGHT AGAINST ABRAHAM!!!!! The 2nd brutal KO did something to him!!!!! And then the 3rd one caused some brain bleeding!!!!!

So he was okay after 1 KO. Looked like shit after the 2nd KO. Brain bleed after the 3rd KO! No time off is going to allow him to get it back.

I didn't think he looked bad against Abraham so I might need to rewatch it. I think he has gotten the rest and the tests needed to allow him to fight again. That being said, he should go nowhere near an aggressive fighter or power puncher. If the first fight shakes off rust and he doesn't look mentally affected, he can do what he wants.

It's a disgrace. This is why fighter's get killed in the ring. 9/10 times it's from pre-existing injurry that leads to it.

JT is already slurring his speech, he suffered major head trauma from the AA fight, and been knocked out too many times in his last fights to be allowed to fight.

The comissions in the hick states are a joke. I remember West Virginia allowing Tommy Morrison and Joe Mesi on the same card a few years ago on one of the Bobfather's god-awful VS shows. More recently they allowed Holy to fight. Another time in South Carolina allowed a guy who was 6'9, 155 lbs to fight MMA. He suffered a brutal KO loss as an amateur, but was somehow allowed to take a pro fight barely 30 days after that. Huge shock he died.

I love boxing. It's a celebration of glory and a sad exposure of the worst type of tragedy. Yes, Jermaine is coming back for brain damage or death. Yes, Manny Pacquiao is a miracle to watch. Yes, I'm a boxing fan who takes the best with the worst. This is the ultimate form of competition and it brings the best and the worst out in men. Jermaine Taylor and those allowing him to fight represent the darkest part of our sport but it is our sport. I've seen Jermaine's story happen more times than I can count, and I'm sure I'll see it again some time soon. (See Roy Jones.) Today's champ is tomorrows vegetable, but what a thrill it is to watch him before he's harvested.

At MW he's got a shot, pretty thin division and he biggest puncher is probably Sergio. Can definitely make some noise and I was one of those calling for the return of Burns in his corner, let's see what happens lol

Yeah I'd imagine since Jermain and Lou were close that a Martinez fight will be on the horizon, and I can see that fight being competitive.

he looked horrible against Abraham. Then he got face planted for the 3rd time and there was some brain bleeding. That is not something that usually improves with time off.

I always said he looked better under burns and should have gotten back with him alllllloooong time ago..he had taylor looking like a completely different fighter...i hope they get that old thing back
