He's the poster boy of what's wrong with todays boxers. In-active, cherry-picking opponents, talking shit but not backing it up.

they should go back to the circuit. people need to be able to fight for a living even if they arent that great. fight once a month and make $1000 dollars a month and hope that you get good, and if not, you can continue to fight once a month and at least get a payday. it lessens the amount of part time fighters and there become full time fighters once again.

Good point Power. Before TV took over, a fighter made his money by being able to get asses into seats. You had to fight more often to make money.
Now the entire boxing economics is bullshit because of premium channels that clearly don't give a fuck about over paying fighters that can't draw crowds or bring in ratings.
But the blame also goes to the fighters. To talk shit about an opponent and then bitch out of fighting them tells all.

boxing has become too much of a part time job for these fighters. if you fight twice a year then its easy to get out of shape. even the so called top fighters are usually out of shape for about half of the year. although a lot of people hate them, people like mayweather, hopkins, and jones were great examples of making boxing their top priority in life. they were always in shape. but we see people like lopez who has a lot of potential but supposedly got up to 190 in between fights. now he is at 145 and says that he is in good shape yet he fights at 126. if you are being paid millions to fight, you should always be in shape.
