Dmar and marble

So that was a bad couple of days over there.

I feel bad bailing on Bird and Ali. They gave it a good effort and I hope they are pleased with what they've created. Lack of manners is a killer for me but others sem to derive plesure from it.

I agree. I will get them guys to join this forum. Its stupid childish stuff like that is what caused us to bail on ESPN.

marble i agree.manners is vital.you can debate with fire and enthusiasm as long as you present your case with examples and facts of disagreement or solid reasoning..insults of a low life nature or lack of respect for another person are taboo..you can totaly call him wrong but present solid reasons why you feel that way and not with fiction..anyway hopefully a 25 -30 member group of active posters will work fine.more of course is great as long as its selective so to speak for obvious reasons..

sooner captain and gomez would be a good start..what ever happened to boxing lawyer..

boxinglawyer wasn't around the other forum that much.

He would come in for a few days, then he would disappear for a month or so.

Would love to get him signed up if only to show up every once in a while. He provides very well thought ideas when he does post.

What about Gumby. He didn't post that much on the other board, but when he did post, he seemed to be civil and generally interested in talking about boxing.

I cant remember if I sent one to powerpuncher. Could you guys send some invites to some of the guys you want to join?

I think it is a better idea to name those that you don't want to invite. Then look at the member list and identify all other boxing posters and attempt to invite them.

That is my advice, but I'm not sure if it is a good idea or not.

good point captain .a combination of both..krazyhorse benneit is a non invite.

I actually liked just about everyone there. If we could find a way to not have to deal with Wolf I'd go back in a heartbeat.

They figured out that you can block all his posts. You add him to your foes list and then it blocks all his posts for you.

yes but everyone else will see his posts and comment on them soo the content idea of whats going on so to speak remains..

OK well that sucks.

even 3-4 posters who act like 10 year olds and it becomes a bit aggravating.


The big problem is a few of them are instigators who bring out the worst in other guys.

People who post and twist people just a little bit are not that hard to deal with(there are a few long-term posters on there who will dig at people a little bit). But when those people have total jerks around, they begin to act like total jerks too.

time to hit the sack. I'll be on in the morning and try to get a few threads in each part of the forum to get things rolling.
