By the way Freaks, it looks like ESPN3.com will have coverage of next week's Shumenov-Brahmer 175 unification from Kazakhstan.

I will be watching it.

I bet ESPN paid nothing for the feed.

When a fight is outside the US and being broadcast in other markets for good money, then just having ESPN add it as the US provider, they probably do so on the cheap. Love that they are doing that.

Yup. HBO could still show the Klits, they just needed to lower what were going to pay for TV licence fee. If say The Klits refuse, HBO then can tell them to fuck off, and they can have their fights for even less on some ESPN3 feed and have even less people in the US watching.

I almost wonder if that's what happened.

hbo offered 250 000 for the klit fight and then changed there mind..thats extra cheap already..of course its tape delay..offer 400 000 for a live 5 pm fight still extra cheap but hbo thinks noo one watches tv at that hour..reverse it and tell hbo to go screw themselves.
