THE NEXT HEAVYWEIGHT HOPEFULL ?
i made a prediction in our prediction thread that a new heavyweight will create some buzz..frank asked if i had anyone in mind and i thought hard for a while..tyson fury i saidto myself im not sure i dont think so..then the name deantay wilder pop into my mind..i remembered the name from before.1.hes still young 25..2.hes tall 6 ft 7 with a bob foster type build about 220..3.he has a 84 inch reach4.he was a two him national amatuer heavyweight champ and a bronze medialist winner in the last olimpics.5. hes 14-0 with 14 kos..and grant will like this.hes from the usa and his nickname is the bronze bomber..thoses are the possitives if he developes..0the negative is hes been decked once by a tomatoe can soo is the chin suspect..we have had our flops with the next hopefull..harrison is a perfect example.years ago it was duanne bobbick..we have had success also.forman frazier..ali who won the olympics at LH...anybody know anything about this guy at all..in 2 years can he make a splash and win the title..or will he go about as far as terrel biggs...

I have no faith in Wilder at this point. He had little AM expirance, and he's been way over-protected. Him getting dropped by a bum with a 17-20 record makes me wonder if that's why. His competition has not progressed at all since going pro.
His last fight was against a guy with a 11-38 record.
To put into prospect. HW prospect Robert Heleniu with the same amount of fights as Wilder, beaten former HW titalist Lamont Brewster, tough journeyman Taras Bydenko, and his last fight was with a guy with a 34-3 record.

helinus seems like a better possibilty and against far better competion..germany it seems has at least 3 good tall HW prospects and eastren europe can add a few more..maybe this is why germany is huge on boxing .eastren europe including germany also have several fighters in the rankings along with a few strap holders..

He lost an Olympic Qualifier in October to Michael Hilton in a decision, 18-4
I think still trying to qualify for the Olympics.
