2 Undisputed Heavyweight champions were stripped of the "WBC belt" before they ever had a chance to make their first title defense. Please name these former Undisputed Champs.

Yup. I'm all for fighter's throwing the stupid straps, especially WBC, into the trash. But Bowe soley did it to avoid Lewis, not send a message that the belts are joke.

Bowe's mistake was listening to Rock Newman. He convinced Bowe to scrap the strap rather than give in to WBC mandates. As a pro, Bowe was much more impressive than as an amateur. I still think he beats Lewis at that time......just my humble opinion.

I agree. The Bowe who defeated Evander in their first fight has little trouble with a pre-Steward "Lewis".
