Brook disposes of Saldivia in flawless fashion

no contest from the first bell. Brook looked extremely sharp and determined, his timing was excellent. he is now the mandatory to face the winner of the alexander - bailey winner tonight and with his promotional outfit is sure to get his shot next. Brook vs Alexander could be an exciting fight for the future

yes he did. The Carson Jones fight is still in my head though. Alexander has faced Bradley, Matthyse, etc... I give him the slight edge because of the difference of level of competition previously faced.

before the fight tonight a lot was made about Brook's failure at "living the life" in the lead up to the Carson Jones fight. apparently he was very relaxed about training and diet and just went through the motions in the lead up to that fight. Brook looked a lot more defined to me tonight. OK we didnt get the chance to see how much stamina would be an issue tonight, but i think Brook has an immense level of talent and skill and providing he can stay focused, he should be a major player around 147 for a few years yet. i think alexander and brook would be a really tasty affair and a perfect fight to measure where exactly brook is at

Alexander has to avoid the big right hand tonight. If Alexander wins tonight and faces Brook, then Brook better KO him. He isn't going to get a decision in St. Louis which is where the fight will be held.

i dunno. matchroom (brooks promoter) has an exclusive contract with SKY now. Brook sells just as many tickets in Sheffield as Alexander does in St Louis. maybe the negotiations will be the most exciting part of the process. if it goes to purse bids then i see Eddie Hearn being the highest bidder

If Alexander can beat bailey (which Bailey has landed a few decent rights in the first couple of rounds so it is far from a given), I look forward to alexander vs brook. Get to see which one of these two is for real.
