Kell Brook arrives on the Welterweight scene

Brook beat N'dou by UD last night, had him hurt during several stages in the fight. It wasn't an outstanding performance by Kell, but a solid mature performance from him.

Brook looked absolutely class against N'Dou. his timing, placement, ring generalship, power, variety etc etc was pretty damn special in my opinion. bigger things will definitely be happening for Kell before the year ends. and Khan's team blatantly don't want their boy going anywhere near the Ingle trained Sheffield native. i was very impressed with Brook's performance

Brook isn't that special, but he's neither a poor mans Hamed. He'll be in the mix but won't crack the top three.

Brook's not with Warren anymore, he moved over to Hearn's stable along with Froch and Barker.
Brook is a much more methodical boxer than Hamed ever was, Naz just had extremely phenomenal punch power for a featherweight. whilst Brook hits hard his power isn't in Hamed's league but he is a far tidier operator within the ring than Hamed was. Brook got held back under Warren's banner. i really think he is going to shock a lot of people in the 147lb division. Mayweather and Pacquiao aside, i think Brook has all the tools to become one of the elite in the division

yeh Berto vs Brook should be an easier deal to pull off, i guess that all depends on Berto's willingness to take the fight and whether HBO are still willing to throw lots of money in Berto's direction

N'dou is a fight away from being on the Chop Chop Corley level.

Idc what Brook did in the this fight. Time to step up son.

Kinda hard to when HBO and Top Rank show little interest outside of America.

brook is still a 24 fight fighter. he's just worked his way into the top 10 of the ring rankings and he is hardly a draw over here. look at who else is floating around the top 10 of the division and there isn't really too much going on there. i think Matchroom are going to look to get Brook back out again in September/October time. i don't think that a Jones or Berto fight will materialise because of the logistics (lack of $ for it). i can't see Arum wanting to do a Jones vs Brook fight, and i can't see Berto vs Brook coming off either. of the European trio who are floating about there, maybe they'd be easier fights for Matchroom to make and i can't see why Brook can't win any of those fights. i don't think Matchroom's intentions are to protect any of their fighters and pad their records. as Gomez said, they set Barker up a date with Martinez, hopefully they can do similar for Brook. his new ranking by Ring magazine gives him the better exposure though which he will need to get the big fights he wants

I wouldn't talk smack about Brook if I was Khan. He is the perfect foil to ruin the Khan gravy train. Brook is talented and might have a trinket by the time Khan moves up. He would still be worth little money but will be brought up incessantly because of them both being British. It would also be Brook's big shot while just another fight for Khan. I might take Brook in this depending on what happens in the next year.

Brook might have the power to hurt Khan but he's not exactly fast, N'dou didn't have trouble finding him.
