one million 36 thousand folks turned into showtimes fights saturday night a record.wards fight with dawson at the much bigger hbo did 1.3 a success also.great news for boxing.viewership is heading in the right direction.both cards in vegas had a crowd live of over 30 000 folks.the forumla is simple and what many have said on here.give us either fights we want to see or fighters we want to see like alvarez but suppport that with a good undercard.tv and promoters please dont fuck this up.keep the simple formular going.

...actualy gumby they did both.the chavez fight early ppv numbers according to hbo and arum make them anticipate that it will do at least 500 000 ppvs with a outside chance of 600 000.

thoses nunbers fall into what i predicted.arum said he based the guarentees on 250-300 thousand ppvs which means both fighters should get a good back end.both fights sold out the live gate also.it was a excellent night for boxing hbo and showtime.

...ill take that bet if you mean ppv.of course that fight in mexico will draw a larger attendence.ill take the bet also if you mean total money generated from the fight.

With all of the posturing by both sides of Pac-May, and with both of the alleged P4P top dogs seeming to lose something each fight, no one can argue that what was a Megafight now is not going to make nearly as much money as it would have in 2010 or early 2011.

I still say it does better than Canelo-JCC jr. though...at least thru 2013.
