Yup. Today, it'd gotten cancelled it's first season. Scripted shows today can't compete against shitty reality TV like Jersey Shore, Teen Mom, ect.

Why I'm only sticking with premium channels when it comers to shows. Ratings aren't as important since they don't depend on advertisers. The Wire, one of the best shows, didn't get good ratings. It'd gotten cancelled it's first season if it was on cable TV.

I've only seen the first episode of the second series, but I am enjoying the character of Givens.

Yeah the two underlings are a bit bland, I don't mind the captain though, him and Givens have a nice rapport going.

I just love the South atmosphere and characters. " fire in the hole "

I don't know Mark, when I watched the pilot it just seemed extremely camp and cheesy.

Yeah, I only saw part of the first episode, and it looked like total shit. Cheap production, and cliche as hell. It felt like one them softcore T&A movie
