i hate it when they do this. boxing is struggling enough. the more fights the better. stuff like this just proves even more how these promoters dont actually care about boxing like they say they do.

Well if PAC ends up fighting Mayweather on December 1st, that will be one huge surprise. Mayweather and PAC should just milk what ever is left of the cow. They're running out of worthy opponents and their match up is losing a lot of luster because of the break downs in negotiations. Cotto should just fight in November. It's not like he's even going to be fighting anyone dangerous anyways. Cottos run at 154 was a joke before Mayweather and Im not expecting him to fight anyone tough after a hard fight with Floyd.

Cotto is probably working with GBP off a handshake deal, not a signed contractual deal. I think they'll promote him like they promote Floyd. He'll use them as a co promoter because they Have a promoters license and fight under his own banner.

I haven't read anything other than Cotto is being considered as an opponent for Pac and that he turned down TMT.

This is obviously TR trying to accomidate Cotto who would not budge on the Dec 1st date. Cotto is not contractually obligated to GBP, so he can make the Manny fight with TR if he chooses.
