BoxingScene.com has been advised that WBA featherweight champion Chris John (47-0-2, 22KOs) will defend his title on September 29th in Singapore. The opponent has yet to be announced. John, who seems like he's been around forever, is only 32-years-old. He makes the 17th defense of his title which he captured in 2003.

does anybody even care about john anymore? i think that everybody gave up on him and let him get big paydays in indonesia and not acheive any sort of greatness.
