I didn't expect that answer coming from you. I don't see corruption in The Ring. I do see incompetance do to GB meddling.
I agree. Keep them up for now. I like the probation idea.

I voted no. I think the new policy is rather questionable. the huck move was stupid and inconsistent compared to the treatment of other fighters.
lets see them implement the new policy and if they continue to do things that aren't rational.
it won't take too much to change my answer to kick their ass out the door.

I share your exact sentiments Cap. The Ring is on a thread with me right now.

Unless I'm mistaken, Ring Mag gives a voice to educated fans of the sport. Before we throw them to the curb, let's let them know how we feel. Grant writes good letters. Let's let him be our spokesman and let them know how we feel. Believe me, they'll read the letter.

All rankings are subjective to some extent. I'd rather they stay up as a discussion point, which is all they really are anyway.

I'll gladily send them a letter. I just doubt it will do much good. I got nothing against Michael Rosenthal, I just don't think he has any business being the editor and cheif of The Ring.
The Ring prospered when a seasoned boxing historian and boxing journalist vet was in charge. From Fleischer to Sugar to Collins.
I have little doubt that is why GB left him and Fischer in charge. People in over their head are easy to manipulate and do what you want.
