Clottey never hurt Manny, just because he physically moved him doesn't mean Manny was in danger.

Nothing would make me happier if this PPV underperforms, which it most likely will since Bradley is a nobody.
The interesting thing is, there will be headbutts, and Pac does not like being cut. He doesn't handle it well.

there are 2 ways i see bradley giving pac troubles. one, his head, and two, his speed. pac does not do well with someone with speed to nullify his. and he hasnt really been in the ring with someone with a noggin like bradley. i still think that pac will win it, but i think that bradley gives him a little trouble.

That's what I'm thinking; Manny has shown he can get cut and that big assed dome is made for butts and cuts. Not sure if Bradly can hurt him with his hands, but there's a good chance he does open him up with a butt. All bets are off if that happens.

Anyone else think this will be boring? I know a lot of you guys think Bradley will do well but I just see this as a one sided beating. Maybe I'm wrong and it will be exciting.
It's official: Pacquiao-Bradley fight on June 9
RingTV.com has learned that WBO welterweight beltholder Manny Pacquiao and WBO junior welterweight titleholder Tim Bradley have agreed in principal to the terms for a clash that will take place on June 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Bradley looks like a genius for not fighting Khan now.

I disagree. Bradley could have fought Khan last summer for at the time a career high payday. And he would have had just as good of a chance at beating Khan as Peterson. He would then be the Man at Jr Welter, would have got more exposure, and maybe more money against Pac.
Not only that, if he loses to Pac, he'd still be The Champ at Jr Welter. No different then when JMM lost to Mayweather, he was still The Champ at Lightweight.
What does Bradley have to fall back on?

agreed. bradley just ducked khan while he could have been the legit contender to fight pac. now, nobody really cares about this fight. this fight could have been a lot more relevant.GrantZilla wrote:hardcorebee24 wrote:Bradley looks like a genius for not fighting Khan now.

...what if Bradley lost? If he wins this fight he's king and probably gets a shot at Floyd. If he loses he gets all those other fights he passed on.

I agree, but it should be a close one. This fight will come down to judges, hopefully Arum doesn't pay them of to baby his cash cow. And hardcore, I agree with your argument, but he still looked like a bitch for ducking khan.gomez1012 wrote:I think bradley is going to win

Not excited! I think PAC will kill him. Bradley's big ass head is one hell of a target for PAC to hit

Of course he does, this decision however will prove to be more lucrative.

Re: Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley likely for June 9th
I feel Pac never should have been fighting at welterweight in the first place. He became lineal champ at 140 by defeating Hatton. He should have closed out his career by fighting JMM, Bradley, Khan, etc defending the championship.
It's amazing he went up and beat some of the way bigger top guys at 147, but the trinkets he's picked up are meaningless. THe Flod fight was never going to happen. It's kind of been a waste of time.
If manny doesn't want to sacrifice to drop 5 pounds before weigh in to make 140, he should just retire.

You're not wrong, but guys at Pac's status are almost beyond weightclasses with the way the game is now. With everyone else moving up and down and fighting at catchweights, etc. it makes less and less sense to focus on "clearing out" any one particular division. And when you can make millions fighting whoever, why bother dropping any weight to accomidate someone who has no drawing power (e.g. Bradley)?
