as my little brother always says to me about athletes, "I have to turn the damn channel every time they interview some guy from the nba, nfl, etc..., after they use 'you know' about 5 times in 30 seconds." I'm still waiting for the first interviewer to say, "no, I don't know."

Ricky Burns has a similar problem, he'll say " Erm " between every word in a sentence.

Its a crutch. Alot of ppl use them. Especially down south. "Umm". "Y'Know".

I think Frank Bruno even had that problem where he'd say " you get me" every ten seconds.

Not only that. Let's see how anyone sounds after 12 rounds, or getting KO'd, and expected to give a in-depth interview.

People forget these guys just getting out ring after taking shots to the head. I'm surprised they can talk at all

TRUTH! Knowing how my head was spinning before, during and immediately after who gives a crap D-III football games I am amazed in most cases by these athlete's self-posession.
