Bum Jr. Could Get Margarito or Mundine if No Cotto
An all-Mexican showdown between Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (44-0-1, 31KOs) and Antonio Margarito (38-8, 27KOs)? The fight is possible, according to Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum. First, several things would need to happen.
Chavez would have to get past his most dangerous test, Marco Antonio Rubio, on February 4th in San Antonio, Texas. Top Rank is interested in a July fight between Chavez and WBA 154-pound champion Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico. But, if Cotto is selected for a rematch with Manny Pacquiao on June 9th - then Margarito is a possible opponent.
Another possible opponent for Chavez is Australian star Anthony Mundine (43-4, 35KOs), a former champion at 160, 168 and the current WBA interim-champion at 154. Mundine recently traveled to Las Vegas and sat down with Top Rank to discuss a future working relationship.
"If we can't do Cotto, we could do Antonio Margarito. That's a possibility. There is also Mundine, who brings a lot to the table with the Australian TV," Arum told BoxingScene.com.

I would not be opposed to either of these. Margarito gets another beating/Chavez fights a pressure guy with a great chin. Mundine should be fighting at 160+ anyways and I hope he gets whipped sometime soon too.

margo is in line for another undesereved payday.unreal.chavez fight night has a good 20 pound advantage over cotto.cotto would be better served as a free agent or with golden boy.floyd is a possibilty alvarez also or a kirkland.all at 154 pounds.if he were to fight at middle theres nothing wrong with martinez.cotto still is a desireable name and draw and thoses 4 fights are far more desireable then chavez.
the hell with margo.hes been hit at will his last 3 big fights and offered nothing in return.his chin against a decent puncher is about to crack..

I really hope this is the last fight Bum Jr. can make the weight at 160. He needs to move up to 168 so he can become irrelevant.
