I wonder if Hopkins moved to Cruiserweight would he have the same success as Tarver ?

Yeah, but you're still fighting bigger guys. It's a 25 pound gap between Light HW and Cruiser. And a lot of Cruisers show up in the two hundred plus

Pascal and Dawson are two young athletic fighters, none of the top guys at Crusier are that agile or mobile.

Tarver vs Wlodarczyk in Play For April 28th on Showtime?

According to promoter Andrzej Wasilewski, there is a "75% chance" that a deal will get closed for a cruiserweight unification between champions Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (46-2-1, 33KOs) of the WBC and Antonio Tarver (29-6, 20KOs) of the IBO. Wasilewski says the negotiations are "moving in the right direction and we could very well sign a contract in the near future."

Showtime is interested in the fight and one of the dates provided by the network is April 28th. Regarding the location, Wasilewski is certain the fight is going to take place in the United States, in a location like New York or New Jersey where a lot of Polish boxing fans are present.

If this fight goes down, the winner is a natural choice for Hernandez. The Ring champ vs a highly ranked contender in a trinket unification match. If my boy BHop somehow escapes Chad and Tarver goes through Wlodarczyk and Hernandez, the rematch should be BHop's finale.

Tarver is so overrated. Did anyone else forget how boring this guy was? plus his win over Green doesnt mean shit. Green wasnt that good either.

I still remember him in is rematch with Dawson. After every rd his corner begged him to do something and every rd he just couldnt. That boy is done. He wasnt that gd to begin with.

For Tarver's whole career it seems like he was obessed with/jealous of Roy Jones. Both Florida guys, he called Roy out for years before they actually fought, and he's been living off those fights ever since. Even got into broadcasting after Roy did, like he's following there too.

And yeah, his style (aka no workrate) has always been boring.
