Who is fighting Mike Jones? That guy needs a bigger fight.Diego408 wrote:Im pretty certain that the Berto-Ortiz winner is going to fight Mayweather instead because of the GBP and Al Haymon ties. Ive already seen Marquez beat Pacquaio 3 times, i think Pacquiao should fight an actual guy in his prime and thats in his 20's.Soonermark890 wrote:Feather fisted Bradley is a tough fight? Cotto is too slow to hang with Pacquiao, he'll get KOed again. I still think Peterson was beat by Khan and Ortiz; Bradley had already dominated him. No need to see these two fights.
I thought Marquez won 9 rounds in the first fight, 8 in the second fight and 7 in the last fight. They are very close fights (especially the KDs in the first two, Marquez clearly won the third), but I wouldnt mind seeing a fourth fight, but I think Bradley would just be a tougher fight for Pacquiao at this point.

He's best chance is Kel Brook. None of the other top Welters will face him anytime soon. Top Rank from what I know co-promotes him. I don't think they'd put him against Pacquiao, especially since he's like half a foot taller than him plus he's a no name.Soonermark890 wrote:Who is fighting Mike Jones? I think in order of legacy, a dominant win would look best against:
JMM
Bradley
Cotto (at 154 no catchweight)
Peterson
Personally I almost like prefer in the except opposite order:
Peterson
Cotto
JMM
Bradley
Peterson-Bradley II and Cotto-Canelo both set up MUCH more meaningful fights for Pac and Floyd but I doubt we get either one. I like Pac vs Berto/Ortiz more than the 4 options especially if it is Berto.

I wasnt really suggesting Pac for him I just am wondering if anyone has heard anything about an upcoming bout. Also that guy is 28 years old its probably time to step his comp up.Diego408 wrote:He's best chance is Kel Brook. None of the other top Welters will face him anytime soon. sooner good point.28 years old and hes still in school learning to fine tune some skills.a contender-prospect that they now are sucking into the 2 fight a year syndrome.to me only thats a big problem in boxing.too many fighters are falling in that trap.too many with that two fight syndrum have one fight against a bum or a well over the hill fighter.bradleys falling into that category unfortunetly.whats so dam hard to fight 4 or 5 times a year.jones should be doing that but he wasted part of a year already..its a shame.

Why? so JMM can get screwed out of another decision?

Re: Pac to fight one of four guys next.
i dont want to see a marquez fight.yes JMM deserves another pac fight ..i had pac wining the first 2 and lossing the third.the best i can see is a pac draw in that fight.unless old age instantly hits marquez fight night i see the fight as a re run to the other 3. close with both fighters claiming a win and a arguement supporting both opinions.
by asking 28 million and marquez surely would want 10 million then the fight and pac is overpricing himself out of a rematch.rios why not..maybe hes in line for the near future.the passing of the torch for arum perhaps.
