Comeback of the year...
Mike Alvarado against Bradies Prescott. Prescott came out like a man possessed in the first five rounds. Alvarado was cut badly in three places and looked as though he was going to suffer his first loss going into the 10th. Alvarado hung in there and did the only thing he could have done to win the fight, he knocked a tired and seemingly punched out Prescott down with a double uppercut and then finished him off after Prescott took a count. A really unbelievable and exciting fight that shouldn't go ignored. Alvarado has some things he needs to work on but his chin and heart are superb.

Alvarado has been held back by his own stupidity. Hopefully this win inspires him to stay on the straight path and maybe get a decent fight.

I'd love to see him in there with Maidana when he jumps up in weight.

Has Maidana officially moved up to 147 or is he just been talking about it?

Just talk at the moment but with Khan and Bradley ready to move he'll follow.

I'd go with DeMarco over Linares.

I think Alvarado gets a shot for a vacant belt against Rios when he moves up. At least, I would LOVE that.

I wonder how far that fight would go? That's a great fight.

Fight of the night
Alvarado busted up and no quit in him, sick uppercuts to end the fight in the final stanza. Had the bar going nuts each time he ripped Breidis
Prescott was what, 160 something??? Dude needs to move up to 147
