Hasim Rahman to be inducted into the HOF....

Former Undisputed World Heavyweight champion Hasim “The Rock” Rahman will be inducted into the Maryland State Athletic Hall of Fame later this year. Rahman, who is still an active boxer (50-7-2, 41 KO’s), pulled off one of the great upsets in recent boxing history when he knocked out Lennox Lewis in the fifth round on April 22, 2001 in Gauteng, South Africa to win the undisputed title. The Baltimore-born boxer would later win a WBC title in August of 2005.

Yeah, why I tried correct it, but Frank already quoted me. Still, not like Canastota is much better. Not when got guys like Fat Dan that think Gatti is first ballad lock for the HOF

For sure. Part of me likes that they are not as anal about who get's in as baseball, so guys like Tyson can get it. The other part looks at some of the people that got in, like Joke Sillyman or Cortez, and am disgusted.

Gatti was who got Fat Dan into boxing, we can't take him seriously on that subject. Fatboy thinks Mickey Ward was the Junior Welterweight Archie Moore and Gatti the Junior Welterweight Marciano. I'll take Canastota over the State HOF's any day.
