Mike Tyson to be inducted into the....WWE HOF

According to former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, he is going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year for his contribution to wrestling.

He told TMZ.com: "I am honored to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. I was the youngest heavyweight champion of all time, but the most fun I ever had in the ring was with WWE."

Tyson's most famous in-ring appearance came at WrestleMania XIV in 1998 when he acted as a special enforcer in the match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels - both of whom are Hall of Fame inductees.

The 45-year-old retired pugilist most recently acted as the guest host of 'Monday Night Raw' last year.

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony takes place at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida, on March 31 the day before WrestleMania XXVIII.

Tyson - who is a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame - is not the first non-wrestler to be recognized by the company.
