ive always said that mayweather made people hate him. i dont hate him as much as most people but he has turned into a non likeable person. the only thing i respect about him is his work ethic. and the argument with his dad was whatever to me. i understand that they have had tons of problems throughout their lives so whatever.

I don't like Mayweather because he is a fake. That argument with his dad was staged as fuck. Everything about him is fake.

It's the same reason I didn't like Tiger Woods. I said long before he got busted that the guy was a fraud with his goody-good wholesome image.

The opposite with Mayweather. He puts on this fake "gangsta" image, and it's fucking tiresome and annoying. Not to mention he over does it.

Like wannabe tough guys that go buy a huge truck, wear Tap-Out shirts, get a bunch of tribal tats.

That's why he'd even allow that argument to be shown in the final cut. The promoters aka GB/Mayweather Productions, are the ones that pay for 24/7, not HBO. If he didn't want that argument shown, it wouldn't have been shown.

But of course he wants it shown. So we're talking about it like we are now. Hype the fight. Bring Mayweather his money!

I like Floyd. He's just an ignorant dude with a huge ego whose made lots of money so he won't listen to anyone. He's excessively cocky and arrogant. But he's a damn good fighter and I respect his work ethic. For the record I also like TO so I know I'm goin against the flow on this.

This series is so well done, it's a shame that it has to be wasted watching the Mayweathers do their hoodrat routine over and over. Floyd thinks this is his personal reality TV series at this point, and is acting that way trying to create drama and play the heel like a third rate WWE wannabe.

On the other side Ortiz is getting the "babyface" treatment something awful. Admittedly, the kid has a classic rags-to-riches story going here, but the contrast between these two is by far the sharpest of any 24/7 so far.

By the time this is done, you'll get even more people wanting to see Floyd get KTFO and more people wanting Ortiz to be the one to do it. Problem is, the fight won't go down that way. Sad

Arguement was real. Mayweather is a disrespectful punk. Sr made him a fighter, without him Floyd would be in prison. Roger however was the key to the success in his rise to the top. This arguement says a lot about Floyd, talking shit and walking away. Sr told him to make him leave the gym and all Floyd did was keep running his mouth. Hes a punk.

There are a number of reasons that I'm very confident the confrontation was real.

a. Floyd Jr. initially had trouble looking into his father's eyes while trash talking him.
b. Why stage an argument which pits father against son? To build up the fight? That makes no sense. The fight is between Ortiz and MW, not Jr. and Sr.
c. Everything about the Mayweathers, including Floyd's legal problems, point to an impulse control problem present in father, son and uncle.
d. Sr. had a history of humiliating Jr. in public. Slapping him in front of a crowd of people when he was a teen probably looked despicable. I've always thought that Jr. secretly hated Sr.
e. Close your eyes and imagine you're at a basketball game. Now imagine everyone is booing you and cheering the name of the greatest adversary you've ever had. Jr. is going through a ton of stress over his behavior towards Pacquiao. Those types of outbursts are probably common in his present day life. Don't believe me? Make friends with him and mention Pac’s name in a relatively private setting. You'll see what happens.

I agree that Mayweather does have temper tantrums. But he's also all about hype. He went on Dancing With the Stars to sell the Hatton fight. He went on WrestleMania to build up hype and had Triple H with him against JMM.

The fight with his dad builds up hype. Hell, we're talking about it now. I gurantee every boxing website is talking about it. And as said, I wouldn't be shocked if it landed on some Entertainment Gossip program.
