The Switch - ugh pretty bad, I want my 90 minutes back. 2/5

Thought the same thing about The Switch, could of been better

I fell asleep to Cedar Rapids and The Lincoln Lawyer lol

Going to have to give Lincoln Lawyer another shot, keep hearing good things about it

Saw the last Harry Potter today, and It surpassed my expectations. Very slick and engaging, a fantastic end to the series. 4/5

Kinda sad now that the series has concluded, it's been with me since I was a little nipper.

hardly watch new movies because of the little one who dominates my time. He's out of town so I'm trying to catch up.

The Fighter-good movie.

Hate the fact that I know Ward's career and can pick holes in the condensing of time and fights that was done. Ward did fight a guy named Mungin who outweighed him by about 8 or 9 pounds. I remember that because when I had looked at Ward's stuff on boxrec before it stood out. But in the movie it is a guy 20 pounds bigger than him which is a big difference.

Ward did beat the undefeated prospect Sanchez. He did get a title shot! But not against Neary!!!

His next fight he got the MAJOR TITLE SHOT when he fought Vince Phillips for the IBF crown and he lost by early Technical decision. Phillips beat Kostya Tszyu in his prior fight to win that belt.

He did beat Neary (but years later) for a belt. The WBU which is not recognized as a major belt and anyone claiming that they are a world champ because they have the WBU belt is full of shit.

All in all a very good movie. Bale was in great form. Amy Adams was tough as Ward's girl.

True Grit-loved it. It instantly vaults into the top 20 for Westerns for me all-time.

Battle Los Angeles-wasn't bad. Worth watching once.

Cheesy, camp and silly, but honestly I enjoyed it. Every now and then you need a movie like that.

Although the ending did get a bit ridiculous.

just got back from watching it with my sons and its by far the best movie i've seen all year.
you couldn't help but to root for the apes.

Best movie of the year yes but the only time I rooted for the Apes was against the redneck that tried to taser them.

Speaking of Die Hard I just watched that on Blu Ray not so long ago, no matter how many times I watch it, the movie is still awesome.

Ironclad - I really wanted to like this, but it was just ridiculously stupid, cheap, unrealistic and camp, kinda like an episode of Spartacus. Pity because I love Brian Cox, James Purefoy and Paul Giamatti. 2.5/5
