Angulo would destroy Kirkland with ease

Kirkland looks like a monster against opponents that dont fight back. Everytime I see someone fight back, they get a good shot in and stun Kirkland pretty good. Kirkland is just so tough he overwheals them all. Kirkland pretty much doesnt have the best chins out there (been dorpped by lesser opponents) and isnt as good as everyone claims. It will be entertaining while it last, but Angulo is just a better and tougher and could blow Kirkland out of the water in less than 4 rounds. If Kirkland is King King, Angulo is Godzilla.

I thought this before and still think it would be the same

Julio did alright when exchanged with him, except he was trying to box which he isnt that good at

Julio was more effective at 147 than 154.

if kirkland as reported is decked and or wobbled a few times by mediocre fighters or club fighters then indeed a high level guy who can punch will ko him..the step up in competion even at a thin type of division there will be four or five guys capable of koing him.with that in mind any fight hes in with top guys will be exciting.

I tend to agree that Angulo would tear Kirkland a new asshole. The problem is, it may be a long time before Angulo gets his visa problems resolved and is able to fight for big money in the U.S. again.

he has been dropped in a fight before. I'm pretty sure Dougie Fisher said in his mailbag before that not only had he been dropped, but that there were rumors around the business that he doesn't have the greatest chin.

the big reason his chin is a problem is he never learned any defense. It may be too late for Ken Adams to teach him any after Kirkland was with Wolfe for so long and then 2 years in jail.

Ive seen Kirkland down once, I think on Shobox, but Ive seenn him hurt a number of times. Its not like hes fought anyone with a pulse yet either.

They're in the same boat. At least Kirkland is making fights. I hope Angulo is doing the same and we're just not hearing about it. Kirkland in my opinion isn't fast enough or slick enough to deal with anyone in the top five in either division ( middleweight or jr middle). Angulo is also largely unproven, Joel Julio is his best win and he lost to Kirkland as well. Julio looked like shit on Telemundo in his next bout after Kirkland. Both guys haven't shown me much except for power against bottom rung opposition. Both guys are hype jobs if you ask me.

I remember watching Georgio Campanella drop ODLH like a sack of potatoes. Then watching some other can send Oscar down twice. I said, this kid Oscar is ok, but he is gonna get creamed when he steps it up in competition. Heh, who knows......................

Yup the same same Sick Angulo that lost to Cintron, but still came close to putting him out in the 12th. You can question my thoughts, again but I see more flaws in Kirkland than I do with Angulo. Both guys are brawlers and if one is getting dropped and hurt by cans, top guys would be able to do the same.

Im not saying Angulo is one of the very best out there, we know what he brings and what his weakness is. Point of thread, Kirkland is garbage and Angulo would kill him.
