I don't get it. They made a TV show about his life. He lives exactly the way his character does & then everyone bitches about it. What did they expect? His life has been public forever. "Bipolar" is what used to be called a manic/depressive, typically it's someone who has big mood swings. Sheen's mood swings and mental problems are likely caused by his heavy alcohol and drug usage. Sheen never seemed particularly smart to begin with, but his alcohol and drug use turns him into an imbecile. I wouldn't be surprised if this clown is found dead in the next couple of years.

Bipolar or not- He has an addictive personality. Drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, sex, and probably even work.

I feel his pain because I get addicted to things way too easily.

My wife likes to say I don't have that normal part of the brain that allows for moderation.

I have to go to the gym almost everyday. I have to eat healthy and structured. I don't allow myself more than a couple of beers or glasses of wine (usually when boxing is on). I had to give up caffeine because I was consuming an extreme amount.

If I don't do these things I go completely off the rails.

I start thinking about going to the cigs. I start eating junk food/fast food and gaining obscene amts of weight in short periods of time. I start drinking about 5 cups of coffee and 4-5 soft drinks a day. I stop sleeping enough.

Basically, I can't moderate and if I don't keep it all extremely healthy, I self-destruct and start to resemble Mr. Sheen more than a little bit.

Staying extremly healthy and working out religiously helps you deal with job and other stress more easily, and gives you the energy you need to perform at your best when you need to.

The fucking guy is like 40 years old, if he lives to see 50 he's gonna be a basket case, all that "high" living takes a toll on you. The weird thing is, Sheen seems to be as popular as ever, and has tons of fans. I guess there's a lot of dopers/drunks out there who are just as fucked up as Sheen is, go figure.

He's rich and famous. The reason he's become so messed up is because he's been able to do whatever he wants. That's what a lot of people hope to be able to do.
