Ramos didn't do work on the inside enough. He just tried to avoid getting headbutted. That isn't enough when your opponent is rushing your ass constantly. You have to hammer him coming in. You have to do more bodywork early. You have to do more infighting.

Even though he got a great KO I hope Showtime doesn't try to build George into anything because he's not. Ramos fought a strange fight. I still like him a lot, but he seemed tentative to mix it up even though he wasn't dominating on points and gained an advantage whenever he did. That and the amount of holding he did was unacceptable. A performance Victor Ortiz would've been proud of.

I dont know. George is really young and he obviously has power. I think it all depends on how he is handled. If he can grow as a fighter he might be a fringe type guy and may even get a title shot at some point.
