Australian Open
Anyone besides freak interested in this? Nadal going for 4 slams in a row. Federer fighting against father time. Djokovic coming off a Davis Cup high. Murray feeling a lot of pressure to get the first slam. Soderling being dangerous. Roddick depressing Americans. Lots of subplots.

Re: Australian Open
It is pretty old especially with a whole generation of players growing up developing styles designed to take you down. Del Potro and Soderling are BIG hitters. Nadal being lefty and having spin works so very well too. Murray and Djokovic are not as bad but they still are talented.

Federer and Djokovic match up in the semis with wins today. Nadal has looked dominant for his part but I see Murray giving him all he can handle in the semis.

Nadal looks dangerous. I hope Federer can pull it off though. Murray is playing great also.

Re: Australian Open
Federer rolls Wawrinka. I know its mostly because they are the best 2 in the world but it feels like there is an unwritten rule for Fed and Nadal's compatriots to give up against them. Nadal dominates Spaniards and Fed dominates Wawrinka. Anyways, I actually think Murray has a great shot against Nadal in the semis. Rafa isn't 100%, has a lot of pressure, and Murray is dealing right now.

I hope Murray beats him. I'm not a Nadal fan at all. Federer all the way.

I think its been like 60+ years since a Brit won a slam. Murray has his hands full with this new guy. Dolgopolov? Who has 4 Os in their name?

Re: Australian Open
Rafa is out. Who is the favorite now? Ferrer has virtually no chance to go through two of these monsters left. Murray should get to the finals but has a lot of pressure on him. He has been playing extremely well this tourney. Djokovic is also rolling but has had stamina issues before. He would have to go through Fed and Murray for the title. Federer has been by far the most shaky out of these guys but has been here a million times and intimidates the others.
I got Federer. His aggression has been upped by Annacone and he has Murray's number.

Speaking of Knighthoods do you know if they can be given to people who reside in the Common Wealth ?

Yep, anyone in the Commonwealth. That's why it's Sir Donald Bradman

Federer lost. Now I want Murray to win it. Can't stand Djokovic.

Re: Australian Open
Ali, he'd be the first Brit since 1936 to win a Slam. I will wait to make a prediction until after the semi.
