Mr. Twinkie makes a great point
So ESPN just did a better job promoting Alexander-Bradley with that interview than HBO did on its own fight.
I have to give ESPN credit for pushing a good fight. I give Rafael credit for calling out HBO for their lack of promotion for the upcoming fight.
I shudder at the state of boxing when ESPN's Friday Night fights has to promote big fights in the sport, because HBO is run by a bunch of clowns.

This what been saying about HBO forever. IF it's not a PPV fight, HBO does jack shit to hype it up.
Granted, it's promoters jobs to promote the fight. But promoters greedy fucks, and smaller ones don't got kind extra money to promote a fight the way HBO can.
What HBO needs to do is set aside a % of the licence fee they pay out for promoting the fight. So if they pay 1.5 million for a match-up. 25% of that should go to advertising it. Billboards, online advertising.
What I get from friends of mine who are casual fans are, they don't know when these fights are on.
But see, HBO doesn't give a fuck about that. Ratings not a priority to them. Keeping subscrbers and bringing in new ones is. Problem is, not going to keep or bring in new subscribers when do jack shit to showcase your fights.
