How is this karma ? sure I gained respect for Ricky when he fought his heart out to beat Martinez but I wouldn't be upset to see JuanMa beat him.

I just wish JuanMa would man up and stop ducking Caballero.

Anyway going up to Super Featherweight right now is a reckless move, Juan needs to clean up Featherweight first.

no frikking way. here is the lowdown on Burns, Burns is an average fighter with a fantastic domestic promoter. Burns' chances were completely written off against Martinez and he had his "Rocky" night in front of his home fans where he had to give his all to tough it out. he carries absolutely no dcestructive power in his punches. he has to really cut to make 130lb. his last fight was against a blown up bantamweight who he never managed to put away....
JuanMa is levels above Burns and if they were to meet then Ricky would take an absolute hiding. this is the perfect fight for JuanMa at 130lb because he gets a title and he hasn't got to worry about the punches coming back as they carry little authority. Burns' timing is good when he throws but he doesn't have the power to keep a ferocious puncher like Lopez at bay. Lopez is much better than Martinez, even if he does have a suspect chin. I just don't see that Burns has another "Martinez night" performance in him, particulary away from home which is where this fight would take place if ever. I got a lot of respect for Ricky and he gave one of the greatest performances i've seen in a British ring at World level, but i just don't see this fight happening and if it did i don't see Burns winning...... a single round......
