Just heard the news.One of my favorite TV shows was Police Squad.That's three actors from Airplane that have recently passed.R.I.P. Leslie.

I've known several people who have met him, and by all accounts he was a very nice man. Sad news.
His brother was the member of parliament for the Yukon Territory for 20 years, and for a time was the Deputy Prime Minister of Canada.

that is sad news. Naked Guns used to crack me up. I remember a scene about practising safe sex and him and the woman come out in full body condoms haha classic...

Leslie Neilsen dies

This happened a few days ago, he was 84, his comedy was cornball/slapstick, but he made us laugh.

Every once in a while a public figure passes and it really saddens me. John Candy's death bummed me out. This is one of those times.
Of course going in your sleep at age 84 surrounded by friends and loved ones isn't so bad.
