NBA Playoffs
Rose tears up knee, done.
Bulls will fight on without him. They can still win a series or maybe even two, but they won't beat Heat.
Heat will make it to the finals again.
Drama almost all gone from Eastern Conference.
Western conference will be much more interesting now (and probably was even beore the injury).

I'm rooting for the Heat but most haters or neutrals have more faith in them than I do. They have a good chance with Rose out but the Knicks still are alive in the series (a 33 point loss means the same as a 1 point loss in a series) and Celtics showed a lot of life in moving up seeds after the All Star Break. The Thunder and Spurs should be the class of the West.

Bulls fan here and we are screwed. Heat will win the East easy with the West going to either the Lakers or Spurs.

Lakers? WTF Thunder would hand them their ass. Spurs are much tougher though.captainanddew wrote:freakzilla wrote:Bulls fan here and we are screwed. Heat will win the East easy with the West going to either the Lakers or Spurs.

The Lakers are mentally out of it. This is one of those games I think shows Kobe isn't as clutch as everyone says he is. The Thunder would still be ahead even if he had a perfect game but he should be doing better than 7/18 for 20 pts with 2 rebs and 1 asts. He has 3 TOs also.

kobe isn't young anymore. He turns 34 this summer and he has already played something 1330 nba games between regular season and playoffs. The energy and legs aren't there on a nightly basis, especially after a 7 game series (and playing young guys in OKC).

Yeah but you look up his career statistics in the 4th and they are average at best. He missed his last 5 shots tonight with a costly turnover.

82games.com has "clutch" statistics if you need a reference point. Lebron has been destroyed for his clutch play but shoots a higher % with more rebounds and a better assist/to ratio.

you know you are no longer young when you think, "why watch the 2nd and 3rd. just take a nap during 2nd and 3rd and wake up for the 4th."

Re: NBA Playoffs
i'm getting old, but start the damn games earlier. Finishing at 11 or later(as I'm the type who likes to watch espn news and get some post game interviews), isn't good. It was fine when I was 18 or 25, but at 35 with a kid to get up in the morning, I'd like to get some sleep.
I know it isn't convenient for people in other time zones, but I enjoy the games that start at 7:00 or 7:15 much more than the 8:30 games.

Re: NBA Playoffs
LMAO. Lil Wayne was all butt hurt because he was denied entrance into game 3 in OKC. Why? Because the dumb ass didnt have a ticket. His people contacted the front office to get a courtside ticket LOL. Does he realize that we dont just give away courtside here in OKC. This isnt LA.

Re: NBA Playoffs
I just think its funny how he thought he could just show up to the game and demand courtside. Then he gets mad and goes on twitter ranting about it when he wasnt allowed in the game.
