THE FREDDIE ROACH SHOW

the hbo show on freddie im sure will be cancelled.theres no interest i feel from the general public or casual fans.even hardcore fans theres not huge interest.yesterday i watched the first 6 episodes on hbo on demand.i admit i did enjoy watching it.

The take on it is great reviews but entirely too sad and real for people (even boxing fans) to want to watch. His story is legendary and incredible but humbling and sad and he's getting worse, he will not get better. Youre basically watching someone deteriorate and die. There is no chance for a happy ending with Freddie.

I don't think HBO is concerned with the ratings for the show. It seems it's a show they know will likely get the some awards.

I think it was only meant for six episodes.
