That would be a nice Match up. The winner faces the winner of Anguelo vs Kirkland and hopefully next fall the winner of Cotto vs AM

hopefully that scenario will happen but i doubt it.

if cintron shows up like he has in his last 3 fights, canelo will win by KO.

I'd never put money on this kind of fight. I'm not sold on Canelo and BumTron is so horribly inconsistent. If it's the BumTron against Angullo, I think he can beat Canelo.

There is a no clear cut dominate fighter at Jr Middle. All those fights, except Canelo-Kirkland, are pick 'Em fights.

Even against Angullo? Cotto standing will depend on how well he does against Margs. If he puts on a good show against Margs and wins convincingly, he'd be the favorite against Canelo as well.

However, if Margs destroys Cotto like he did the last time, he'd be in the mix at Jr Middle as well.

Canelo is still a question mark for me since he has yet to fight let alone beat an elite fighter.

Margarito is an unknown

I just think Angulo is a very limited fighter, he's a pure brawler, if Cintron and Julio can outbox def think this kid can

Canelo has defense lapses. Major ones. Why this is going to be a good fight. We'll see how his chin holds up if BumTron lands anything. BumTron does got some heavy hands.

I remain unconvinced on Canelo as well. I think Cintron has a decent chance in this but Grant already said the key to the fight. Which Cintron shows up? The active, powerful Cintron could and should beat Canelo. The recent form Cintron loses on the cards.

cintron does have good power but i swear that in his last couple of fights be has been throwing arm punches and it doesnt seem to have much power in them.

another lacking in desire,will to win.just think if we could combine the talent,ability of some of these half hearted fighters with those who punch above their weight(eg mccloskey)....

I like this fight.

This gives Cintron a chance to resurrect his career as a legitimate contender.

This is also a good test for the young Alvarez. It is showing his expectations are growing with each fight.
