Moreno signs onto Golden Girl

WBA bantamweight titleholder Anselmo Moreno of Panama has signed an exclusive, multi-fight promotional contract with Golden Boy Promotions, the company has announced.

A date and opponent for Moreno’s debut with Golden Boy has yet to be announced.

He better fight Donaire now, or he'll never get the chance. Because no doubt King-Kong-Mares winner will take Moreno undeserved # 2 spot, and there will be more clamor for Donaire to fight the winner

Moreno vs Donaire would be great for the fall, problem is there any dates left on HBO or Showtime ?

That'd be a dumb move by GB. Donaire not sticking around much longer at Bantam. He's going to take one fight later this year, then likely winner of the tournament, and move up.

They should try and get a fight with Donaire now for the fall. Even if Moreno loses, won't hurt him. No shame in losing to a fighter like Donaire. Then match him up with Mares, if Mares loses to King Kong.

That'd be two fights HBO would love to have.
