Wlad vs Arreola in November?
Trainer Manny Steward said that he is targeting Chris Arreola for Wladimir Klitschko's next defense, and that he may be working as the corner man for Tyson Fury's next bout.
Steward said that he would like to see Klitschko-Arreola in November or December. "Arreola's who I would like for Wladimir," Steward told RingTV.com. "I know that at 235 pounds, Chris Arreola is doing something right. He's clearly become more serious with his training and he would make Wladimir fight."
And on a side note, Manny said this of Bum Fury
"Tyson has natural coordination and he's just 22 years old, so he's got time on his side ad there's no rush. But he is going to be the next dominant heavyweight after Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko."

Just shows you how dead the division is when both brothers are feasting off of each others leftovers.

The brothers have cleaned the division out, for sure

you ignored the best part of this. Manny is going to work with Fury. Not that I think he will ever be that good, but at least he will have a chance with a good trainer who specializes in tall HWs.
As for who you want Wlad to fight? WHO? Ring rated top 10:
Vitali vs Adamek
Povetkin(turned down fight anyhow) vs Chagaev (beaten anyhow)
Haye-beaten
Chambers-beaten
Boystov-he's been injured and inactive
Helenius-getting rid of Liakhovich, still needs more seasoning; He has dented the former champs, Brewster, Peter, and now Liakhovich; let him take on a good current top 10 guy first (he'll be as ready as possible by late 2012)
Dimitrenko-does he ever fight???
most of the guys are tied up or already beaten (or clearly not ready).

Would get KO'd brutaly. Shit, if Fat Eddie who doesn't exactly have heavy hands knocked him down twice, what's a Klit going to do to him?

Still act timid/shy and jab ten thousand times before throwing a right hand.

better than running around the ring like a pussy.
You do realize Wlad opens up with the guys who actually fight. Most of the better fighters run like your boy and then you lament the fact he doesn't be more aggressive. It takes two guys to fight.
Carl Froch who makes for great fights was kind of pedestrian when he had to chase Dirrell around the ring.

Guys who are tough as hell but not too talented such as Arreola or Tony Thompson are better opponents for Wlad than more talented boxers who are going to move alot.
Better pure boxers:
Chagaev-didn't want to engage.
Ibragimov-didn't want to engage.
Chambers-didn't want to engage.
Haye-tried to engage early (which is more than the rest of those guys, but Booth admits he didn't want to engage after a right hand in the 6th round).

very simple-the most talented pure boxers (those with the extensive amateur backgrounds) make for ugly fights vs Wlad. He can't cut the ring off well and they just keep moving.
Guys like Thompson and Arreola don't have the same background and are forced to fight. And they produce entertaining fights with Dr. Steelhammer.

Re: Wlad vs Arreola in November?
I don't think any of those guys are better pure boxers then Arreola. Arreola had a lengthy AM career himself, and is just as good of a boxer as Chageav, Chambers, ect.
He's the only HW I can think of in this current crop of shit that can actualy throw combinations.

Arreola had a lengthy amateur career but he doesn't box a bit. He brawls.

[/quote]I actually think Adamek will give Vitaly a good fight. Not only is he a better pure boxer than anyone in the division, he will engage! Adamek is a live dog nad he is the last hope.

Haye tried to engage and was unable to get past Wlad's reach, plus Wlad's early aggression never allowed him to settle. But of course he's a pussy

I could say the same shit about Sultan's incounter with Wlad.
Sultan tried to engage and was unable to get past Wlad's reach, plus Wlad's early aggression never allowed him to settle. But of course he's a pussy

GFTO with that malarkey, Haye landed shots, cut and buzzed Wladimir. Sultan didn't land anything.
Wladimir was the pussy that night, you only needed to listen to Manny during each round to know that, or listen to the crowd.
