Butch Lewis Dies

Fight manager/promoter Butch Lewis passed at 65 after a heart attack.
His dad was part of the group that formed Cloverlay, a firm of businessmen to guide the career of Olympic Gold Medallist Joe Frazier in 1964. Butch became a road buddy for Joe's, then he got the Spinks brothers under his control and made them both a bunch of money.
Also helped make a bundle for contender Razor Ruddock. Seemed like he did well for his two biggest fighters, as Michael Spinks and Ruddock still are doing well financially.
