Friday 11/19: Ruslan Chagaev vs Travis Walker
http://www.badlefthook.com/2010/11/15/1793718/tv-and-internet-fight-schedule-weekend-of-november-19
Friday, November 19
Sport 1 (Germany), bild.de (free international live webcast), 2:00 p.m. Eastern, Ruslan Chagaev vs Travis Walker, Denis Boytsov vs. Mike Sheppard, Rakhim Chakhkiev vs. Chris Thomas. This card was put together on pretty short notice, but if you like heavyweight action, it has some potential. Chagaev is currently sitting on a mandatory to fight David Haye, although it seems unlikely that the fight will ever happen since Chagaev can't get licensed to fight in the UK and Haye isn't going to leave the UK to take less money for the fight. Walker is rarely in a boring fight, but his weak chin is tested and true at this point. Boytsov returns after losing a big chunk of time to hand surgery, and faces journeyman Sheppard. Chakhkiev was the Olympic gold medalist at heavyweight in 2008, and takes on Thomas, who has been knocked out in seven of his last 11 fights. Undefeated heavyweight Manuel Charr will also be fighting journeyman Robert Hawkins on the undercard, and prospect Jack Culcay is scheduled to fight as well. The international webcast starts at 4:30 p.m. Eastern, and it's unclear whether that will include the whole card, or just the Culcay fight
Walker might enough power to hurt Chagaev

I'm giving Boytsov a pass because of a legit hand sugery. But after this fight, he needs to step it up.
Go fight Arreola, or Adamek, or whoever. Just stay the fuck away from the Klits. He's too small

Boytsov would make Arreola blubber fly and to the point he'd look like a Lava Lamp

i definitely think he could. i think Boytsov's speed could pose a few problems on the inside for Arreola, the fact that Arreola always comes in out of shape suggests to me that he wouldn't be able to keep up with the pace Boytsov would set. but Arreola is pretty durable and Boytsov is pretty untested. i think it would be a good fight for Boytsov though. the blueprint is there to beat Arreola. come in shape and pepper him with shots. simple as that

not at all. We all want to see Boystov.
chagaev isn't thrilling but he is fighting Travis Walker. Walker will fight his ass off but crumble after taking some shots (I'd guess around round 3-4). It shouldn't be boring.

Chagaev and Boystov win
http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/early-results-from-germany-25-67409
Former heavyweight champion Ruslan Chagaev (27-1-1, 17 KOs) took a harder than expected eight round unanimous decision over Travis Walker (34-6-1, 28 KOs) in a good action fight on Friday night at the Universum Gym in Hamburg, Germany. The fighters often traded big bombs, but Chagaev did a little more to win by scores of 77-75, 78-75, 77-76. Chagaev is the mandatory challenger for WBA heavyweight champion David Haye.
Top 5 heavyweight contender Denis Boytsov (28-0, 23 KOs) showed no ill effects from hand surgery, dropping Mike Sheppard (15-12-1, 8 KOs) twice in round one and twice in round two before the bout was waved off. Time as 1:18. Boytsov is rated WBC#3/WBA #3/IBF #11/WBO #4. After the bout Boytsov said his right hand was fine and he’s ready for Klitschko.
Grant, Boysturd is going to get pizza faced by either K Bro, props if he steps up
And wow, please Chagaev go away. I hope Haye doesnt face this diseased can

When you say Walker has a TERRIBLE chin you insult all the fighters with TERRIBLE chins. We need a new stronger word for Walker's chin.

This doesn't bode well for Chagaev's resume'. It was only an 8 round fight? The scorecards were too close for a guy like Walker. The only good thing he's ever done was stop Valuev's streak.
