Ray Edwards debut
Saw the debut on youtube and some highlights on espn (not great quality). He's basically a real life rock-em sock-em robot. His footwork was clumsy, his defense was non-existent and he didn't sit on his punches (except the straight right and a few jabs). Still, I was impressed by how strong he was and his straight right. He's planning to fight again in June and I hope they can get him on an FNF if the lockout goes on for a while.
In my opinion he's definitely a good example of a football player who could've been a good boxer (moreso than Seth Mitchell whose not the same caliber of athlete). He looks like a hard hitter especially if he learns how to turnover his punches and not move around on his toes. He reminded me a lot of a young Wlad in both his clumsiness, rigidness and power.
