Thanks for the reminder. You're taking Evans Quinn? He's not altogether bad, but I think the sheer physicality of Mitchell will see him through this level of comp. But the way things are this year, if you just blindly took every underdog, you'd be cashing in bigtime.

Idk, Mitchell looks so average to me vs tomato cans, think he's more hype than anything.

Quinn looks ok, he might have enough experience to withstand whatever Mitchell brings and take over

Mitchell is a work in progress. He didn't start boxing until very late.

initial thought on Mitchell. 245 pounds. He obviously did alot of lifting in college as a football player. He should be lighter though.

Mitchell is using the jab pretty well, but he ducks down to the right a little when he throws it.

Mitchell ducks the head alot.

Mitchell lands a good right hand and then Quinn can't stand up. Quinn is quitting. He could have gotten up. Fuck him.

I need to see more but he ducks his head down alot. He stands there and hunches his huge shoulders down. Stand up a little taller.

Good athlete. If he is getting proper sparring, good training, and his opponents progress (slowly), then in about 24 months, we'll have a much better idea.

and drop 10 pounds.

Note to Gus Johnson if you ever call boxing again: Listen to Curt Menefee. He calls the blows. He doesn't try to do an analysts job. He doesn't scream his head off.

this is a fun shobox card. Even though Mitchell's opponent pussed out, it is good to see him on the tv instead of damn youtube. And you have the lion with the fun ringwalk against Pac's sparring partner, Beltran.

Beltran and the Lion are in a good scrap. Both guys cut from headbutts, but the Lion is cut worse. Beltran seems to be the bigger man in there. This is a war of attrition and the Lion seems worried.

Beltran appears to be breaking down the Lion, but each round is damn good. Haven't been scoring it, but undoubtedly it would be close after 5 rounds.

Lion having a good round 7, then Beltran lands a big shot that seems to stun Lion.

Lion falls down after a shot, but it is ruled a slip as it was so long after the shot. Lion is hurt. Hurt.

Beltran is breaking him down.

I didn't score the fight but I feel like Beltran should win the fight.

Menefee scored it even as did Farhood.

I wasn't scoring, but it felt about even. Good brawl, a bit on the sloppy side.

figured unless Beltran won wide or KO'd him he would lose. The Lion is an undefeated prospect. Hard to get a decision against such a fighter in a close fight.
