Fernando Vargas comeback postponed

Fernando Vargas had to pull out of his comeback fight against Henry Buchanan, scheduled for April 16, because of pneumonia, fightnews.com reported.

Vargas will have to wait at least until May to get back into the ring, the Web site reported. The former junior middleweight titleholder hasn't fought since he lost a decision to Ricardo Mayorga in 2007.

last video I saw of him speaking, he was slurring. I hope he doesn't fight again.

You know who else slurs some? Shane Mosley. Mosley also takes some time to compose his thoughts and is much more deliberate when he speaks. Such a cautionary tale. Hopefully more guys do like Ricky Hatton and retire pretty early before they do alot of long-term damage.

Contrast that with Chuvalo.The man took a tremendous beating throughout his 93 fight career and shows no signs of punchiness.

vitali had legitimate injuries with his joints. He doesn't have any issues with having been punched in the head too many times(and reflexes looking much slower) ala Ferocious Fernando Vargas.

Vargas is RoyJones-shot. He is also fat and brain damaged.
