Its like a Contender tournament and I dont think Reid took much punishment before he retired

I guess he can still compete at that level, unless he runs into a Brit as good as Lacy....

reid was shot by the time lacy battered him. the prizefighter tournament is usually compiled of fighters with journeyman records, always a washed up former trinket holder (Reid in this instance), a 4 fight novice with a perfect record, a potential prospect, and then other journeymen lol. the fights are 3 rounds long. it starts as a quarter-final, semi-final, final. so it's 3 x 3 round fights potentially against guys that aren't top level on the same night. it's a one off sort of thing and i doubt he'll be looking to do anything afterwards, he obviously needs the cash. all this being said, prizefighter can be pretty entertaining sometimes because the guys don't exactly have feeling out rounds in them. it is pretty much all action
