FOX SPORTS TO DO WEEKLY FIGHTS ON TV
shelly finkel and his group signed a deal with fox sports to do a weekly tv card on there network..it may be similar to espns friday night fights..the opening show features unfortunetly james toney a big name but well beyound his prime..again it gives sports fans a opportunity to check out boxing.exposure that cant do any harm to the game.
today on fox sports home boxing page the bradley-alexander fight is plastered all over it with 5 articles..showtime -cbs steping up into the picture also is a plus..hbo is forced to rethink there position and seek a anser to compete or attemt to dominate..thats good for exposure also..
hopefully this will lead to rising stars kahn bradley alexander alvarez and others to fight a few times a year more..don king bob arum have expressed that is a must to get boxing revitalized..
can this lead to a monthly fight on regular tv via cbs..i think the possibilites are good if boxing folks play there cards right..
just maybe and its a maybe but boxing has a oportunity to turn the corner with this and start down the road of one champ per division in the future..
the oportunites are presenting themselves..i hope boxing folks thinbk of it as a do or die type of oportunity..if they do the future will improve.

Good news. Let's hope FOX stays on the same page as ESPN and only recognize THE RING and not all the ABC belt bullshit. It will only confuse and turn off new viewers. We can agree that it is the best option until something better comes along

The more exposure, the better. Hopefully they'll have some good match ups.

Wonder if this has to do with FX's Lights Out. I bet you see 10 promos of it during the first show
Why boxing fans realy need to support this show.
