I didn't see this bit with Teddy, but I assume you are talking about the Transnational boxing ratings. Yes they are the most legit ratings. Terrible name though. The board is made up of the former dudes from the Ring magazine ratings board and follows the old Ring magazine criteria.
One of the things about boxing that continues to make me pull my hair out, is the insistence of fighters, fans, and media in recognizing the parasitic alphabet soup organizations.

Yep, those are the rankings Teddy was talking about. He said they are the most unbiased rankings out there.Canvas Lives wrote:telltailtale wrote:You agree with Teddy about those being the most credible rankings?

Re: FNF
knockout or slugfest? This dude fighting now needs to quit going to the ground with those "slips". He looked like he was shooting for a double leg on one of those.Soonermark890 wrote:You should have seen the fight before this one.telltailtale wrote:wow a knockdown in the first 30 seconds I"m watching

Re: FNF
This guy in the white is horrible. I hate his movement, it's annoying and sloppy.

Re: FNF
It looks a little more controlled now, maybe he just had the jitters early. Still weird how he ducks so low.

Yeah I am not a fan. He is way way too off balance.telltailtale wrote:It looks a little more controlled now, maybe he just had the jitters early. Still weird how he ducks so low.
Re: FNF
How many times does this guy want the slip bailout? It's hit style, like you said he is off balance. His own fault he is falling, I think it should be a knockdown.

Hey by rule if a punch lands and he falls its a knock down. Damn it was a slip LOLtelltailtale wrote:How many times does this guy want the slip bailout? It's hit style, like you said he is off balance. His own fault he is falling, I think it should be a knockdown.
Re: FNF
Funny the announcer just agreed. Said his stance is so wide he puts himself in that position that makes him "slip".

Yeah it seems like his style is kind of difficult for his opponent to really gets things going. But he isn't doing much himself. Real awkward style.

Headbutts in boxing are like eye pokes in MMA. Just one of those frustrating but unavoidable things that happen from time to time. You just hope it's not bad enough to change a fight.
Not really talking about this fight, I don't think the headbutt changes much here.

8-0 Morales, I don't know how common 10-8 rounds are in boxing but that last round was very lopsided.
