I had a dream about Khan vs Maidana

It was round 9 and Khan was beating Maidana up badly, he overwhelmed Marcos with a whirlwind fast combo that had him all over the place then dropped him with a sharp jab, Maidana wasn't severely hurt but he was dazed and confused by the relentless pace of Khan. When Maidana got up he came out swinging throwing wild hooks, this didn't faze Khan at all he defended against the wreckless attack and begin beating up Maidana again with hooks to the body and planting his jab in Maidana's face. Maidana's trainer threw the towel in and a huge celebration erupted, Khan's team and Golden Boy swarmed him to congratulate him, then they lifted him up and the crowd started cheering and applauding Khan.

I swear to god this is what I dreamed, I couldn't believe it when I woke up

Considering the sparring Khan gets at the wild card he should be more than ready for Maidana.

Unless you can show me footage of Khan being wobbled, dropped at 140lb since he's been with Roach then that and the Prescott footage is irrelevant.

Ali What does training with Roach have to do with Khan's weak chin? Unless you're implying Roach is giving Khan some magic shit gives you a better chin.

Fact is, if Maidana lands anything flush on Khan, he's doing the chicken dance.

Training with Roach has vastly improved Khan's defense and technique, sparring at the wild card has given Khan tremendous amounts of confidence and experience. Moving up to 140lb and working under Alex Ariza's strength and conditioning regime has filled out Khan's body and added muscle to his legs. Khan is definitely nothing like the naive kid who fought Prescott, he's an extremely talented fighter with the world at his feet.

Posting amateur footage is pointless and has no bearing on the upcoming fight. Khan's chin isn't strong but he's got all the tools to defend it now.

I should have clarified that Maidana never connected with the hooks, Khan avoided them.

It's the first vivid boxing dream I've had ever. The other dream I had was about me getting braces weirdly.

I think Grant is right, if Khan gets hit flush then he bis definitely going down. But Khan definitely has all the tools to make this completely one sided. as long as he doesn't get reckless about what he does then he should be able to pick Maidana apart, break him down and stop him. Khan's jab and speed are going to be the key. he is a much, much faster fighter than Maidana. he is also the bigger man with the longer reach. Maidana does have the power to stop Khan, but as long as Khan sticks to the gameplan he could beat up Maidana without being endangered at any point during the contest.

Not really badass. More like scary and horrible. They were sometimes third person like I was seeing the act, then the some were first person and it was actually happening to me. It was terrible and like I said was just about everynight for about three years. I was living wild in my late teens early twenties and doing things I shouldn't have been. I started taking sleeping pills so that I wouldn't wake up. It was bad. Then one day thy stopped. Never told anyone untill years later. My girlfriend at the time was probably the only person that knew and only because she would witness it.

Did you ever try talking to a psychiatrist or doctor to help with the nightmares ?

I didn't have insurance then. I just smoked alot of weed and drank myself to sleep. And took sleeping pills. Self medicated myself. I don't remeber my dreams when im fucked up.

Man you've had it tough, from the dog eat dog childhood in New York to the recurring nightmares. Hopefully your life is now peaceful and a joyful experience.

When everyone else around you has it the same you don't know any different. My life is a cake walk compared to what my wife has been through. I have great parents that helped my sis and I through most tough spots. My wife didn't have that luxury. My life is awesome now. Normal people stresses like the price of gas and a mortgage. I never had a need for food or love, my wife on the other hand did.
