Dexter Season 7 (Official Discussion)

Episode 1. Wow! just fucking wow!

this is going to get very strange. the entire dynamic of the show has changed.

I don't know if it ever will return to the glory of season 4 (John Lithgow season), but I think this season is going to be better than season 5 (which I found a bit blah) and better than season 6 (which I thought was a little underated).

Season 4 was far and away the best. I have no idea where the show goes with this seasons' plot line (Deb knowing). It seems like there are two options: jump the shark and fall apart; or be the best season yet.

Some people were complaining about killing off the new detective guy, but to me that's a character who doesn't add much. There are too many great characters already who deserve more screen time.

very true. This is going to be very good or by far the worst season.

This season has a season 2 feel to it.

I liked season 2. Season 3 with jimmy smits and season 5 are the ones I give the least favorable ratings.

This has the potential to be the best season so far!

That's what I'm saying - I can't see where they go from here and keep the show alive. Deb is one of the best characters there, but unless they become some kinda wonder twins murder team he pretty much has to off her at some point. Either way it seems lame.
