Flod's downlow fans are on his nuts too. His jackass personality is the draw, just like Flod but he isn't even in the same ballpark in terms of skill/accomplishments.

Just think what the ratings would be if Jr vs. Martinez wasn't PPV.

broner is definitely no floyd in terms of competition at similar ages.
floyd beat genaro hernandez and angel manfreddy vs broners' ponce de leon (arguable that he lost), eloy perez, and escobedo.

IMO this has been one of the worst years in a while in terms of boxing on HBO or Showtime...
Even ESPN is having a down year

It's funny that the ratings are positive but things haven't really changed much since Greenburg left.

Injurries and boxers failing drug tests made this a down year for sure.

Hershman replacing Greenrbug has been nothing more than a placebo effect.

Sure. Is that why GB and Hayman ran from HBO to Showtime as soon as Hershman took over?

not sure it is a big positive trend. maxboxing had an article breaking down last year and this year and it sure didn't look much of an improvement.

Garcia and Broner havent gone to Showti me. Floyd had his PPV on HBO. I have yet to see any improvement since Hershman took over. Maybe u can list them for me.

Kind of hard to judge how well he's done in short time he's been there. Especially since boxers failing drug tests and injurry pull outs have ruined planed fights.
Floyd loves HBO and will never leave HBO. On top of that, Hershman isn't going to let the biggest draw in boxing go to Showtime. That's how Greenberg lost his job when Pac went to Showtime.
Not Hershman's fault that state of boxing right now is a mess. Let's just see if he makes the same incompetant mistakes Greenberg did. Outbidding himself for fights. Grossly over paying fighters and fights that nobody is interested in.

HBO and SHO are still under Haymon's thumb
The Broner vs Escobedo fight was a new low for HBO, shit they where even talking about Broner facing Gary Sykes before they got Escobedo. And giving Keith Thurman air time? thats sorry!
