What fighters should be in the hall-90s and 00s
What fighters that fought during the 90s and 2000s are hall of fame candidates. Don't flame me. I'm not saying they should get in, I'm just trying to create a list and discuss the merits of the fighters of the past 20 years:
Roy Jones Jr.
Bernard Hopkins
James Toney
Wladimir Klitschko
Vitali Klitschko
Manny Pacquiao
Oscar De La Hoya
Shane Mosley
Winky Wright
Evander Holyfield
Marco Antonio Barerra
Erik Morales
Juan Marquez
Miguel Cotto
Joe Calzaghe
Felix Trinidad
Naseem Hamed
Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
Calderon
Darius M.
Who else would be in the list if we made a list of the top 35 boxers of the past 20 years (and they can't have already made it into the hall)?? I'm not saying 35 boxers from the 90s and 2000s should get in, I'm just trying to come up with a list so that we can try to determine how many guys ballpark should get in, and which ones.

Seems like a solid list to me but I'm relatively new to the game.

Im just flying by the seat of my pants here and havnt done any research, just stating first impressions.
Everyone on your list should make it in I think. The definates without a doubt and no room for argument imo are Holyfield, Trinidad, Hopkins, Roy Jones, Darius M. , Pac, and MAB/Morales.
Those guys all did something special, or several something specials.

I beg you to reconsider. A two divison champion, set the record for most defenses at lightheavy. Ran off a 49 win streak in an age where most fighters call a career at 30 fights, and unified the title to be THE man at the weight for over 6 years.
Granted, he is not as deserving as many on the list, but what does Jones have over him? Nothing at 175. Just a gimmick fight at heavy vs the 9th best heavy in the world and one more divisional championship.

I don't know why Jones gets so much credit for that win over Ruiz. Whats so impressive about moving up to beat a guy like Ruiz for a worthless belt? Its not like Jones became heavyweight champion.
